About This Spot

Stepping into Jenin Pastry feels like entering a small haven where tradition quietly hums beneath every warm glance and exchanged smile. Nestled along Seminary Road in Falls Church, this unassuming pastry shop carries the gentle energy of a place that values heritage and heartfelt craft over flash and frenzy. The pace here invites a moment—whether you're grabbing a sweet treat on your way home or settling in for a brief escape from the everyday rush.

The atmosphere blends a welcoming simplicity with an unmistakable sense of care. Shelves lined with golden, flaky pastries beckon softly, offering a taste of the Levantine kitchen’s time-honored secrets. The scent of freshly baked knafeh and the faint richness of pistachio and syrup mingle, evoking something both nourishing and celebratory. There’s a quiet joy in watching the delicate baklava, maamoul, and other treats being prepared or thoughtfully arranged, a reminder that these are more than desserts—they are stories, memories, and moments folded into pastry.

Jenin’s menu feels like an invitation to explore the nuances of Arabic desserts, where each bite carries a balance of textures and flavors that speak to a culinary lineage. The signature knafeh, with its creamy cheese center and crisp, golden crust, is a shared favorite among locals who find comfort and a taste of home in every slice. Beyond that, every piece—from buttery baklava to fragrant date-filled cookies—carries a quiet craftsmanship, the subtle sweetness and nutty notes lingering thoughtfully on the palate.

The rhythm of the shop is marked less by the bustle of crowds and more by the steady, earnest presence of staff who seem to genuinely delight in sharing these flavors. Guests often come not just for the pastries, but for a connection—to a culture, a tradition, and to each other. It’s a spot where daily routines can pause, even if just for a moment, and where returning feels less like a visit and more like a homecoming.

If you’re looking for the most delicious knafeh, this place is an absolute must try! The cheese is perfectly melted and creamy, while the crispy golden crust has just the right amount of sweetness and crunch. Every bite tastes fresh and rich, and the syrup is perfectly balanced not too heavy or too sugary. The portion sizes are generous, and you can really taste the love and tradition in every piece. The staff are also friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I’ve tried knafeh in many places, but this one truly stands out as the best authentic, flavorful, and unforgettable! Highly recommended for anyone who loves Middle Eastern desserts or wants to experience real knafeh done right.

My favorite knafeh and Arabic desserts in the DMV. It's out of my way but I'd drive however long it takes to get here. Jenin's knafeh is the ONLY truly authentic knafeh in the area, and it tastes just like home. The cream in their warbat is mouth-watering, and their maamoul is sublime. I love Jenin so much.

Delicious basbousa ashta, but i actually ordered kunafa. I guess i must have pointed at the wrong one in the shop and the person didn't hear me correctly. Perhaps you could put little signs by each thing (and allergen info would be useful for others, I'm sure).

We’ve been to many places that offered cakes, ice creams, sweets, but Jenin is a different level. The sweets are tied to a different culture. You don’t find traditional dessert, and what they offer is different, and delicious. Once you try it you’ll definitely be back

Superb pastries. Kunafe, Custard, Baklava Pastry and nuggets were amazing. Staff was very helpful and vibe was great too.. I would want to live next to it so I can go there everyday.

Simply the best Arabic and Mediterranean Sweets shop in the DMV area. Fresh sweets, clean and hygienic area. Always love to try something new. They are very honest.

Came here and got the kunaffe (I forgot how it’s spelled) with cheese and it was really good. In fact it’s the best I’ve had since I had it in the Middle East. The environment is also really nice and clean, definitely a place I’ll be coming back to in the future
